| Abstract: | From the perspective of rational Confucian practice, this paper examines the down-to-earth approach and the pragmatic style which have characterized contemporary China politics since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh CPC Congress. On the basis of defining the rational practice and its transcendental spirit, it analyses the rational spirit of contemporary China politics as exemplified by the political thought of Deng Xiao ping and Jiang Ze-min. |
