The Evolution of Yunnan's Ethnic Relations in the Past 30 Years since the Reform and Opening—up

Yunnan, as an epitome of the great multi - ethnic family in China, is typical and representational considering ethnic relations of the country. The situation of ethnic relationship in Yunnan is immediately related to the development and stability of the province and even the whole country. After 30 years of reform and opening - up practices, Yunnan＇s ethnic relationship has enjoyed best development. During this course, guided by the ethnic policy of the CPC and the government in accordance with the practical situation of China, traditional and harmoni- ous components have been carried on while the Left errors have been corrected.
