| Abstract: | The introduction of Buddhism into China and the Buddhist stories along with the translation of Buddhist cannons into Chinese has brought out lots of jokes with Chinese characters. Taking past jokes as the object of study, his paper has sorted out the jokes tainted with a strong sense of Buddhist stories, meanwhile, confirmed the fact that the fusion of Sanskrit and Chinese has exerted an in-depth influence on folk literature with large amount of materials. |
