近代"新学"教育与乡村现代化的顿挫

文章从"新学"教育的角度分析了清末民初乡村社会现代化受挫的原因,认为近代"新学"教育体制的落实,进一步加速了乡村精英离乡的步伐,加剧了乡村社会矛盾,拉大了久已存在的城乡差距.这一系列互为因果的负面影响,事实上将乡村社会推向了日益崩溃的深渊.

"New- learning" Education System and the Setback of Modernization in the Chinese Rural Community

From the point of view of "New- Learning" Education System, this paper analyses the reasons of the setback of Modernization in the Chinese rural community at the end of the Qing Dynasty. The paper holds that, with the development of the new - learning education, a great number of elitists in the rural communities moved into cities. Social conflicts became more and more acute. The gap between city and rural which had already existed was widened. Actually this series of negative effects made rural communities run into an abyss of breakdown gradually.
