中世纪哲学的基本精神及意义

欧洲中世纪虽是一个信仰的时代,但不能把它简单地说成是否定理性的时代。中世纪哲学秉承了西方哲学的理性传统,以一种独特的形态延续着西方哲学发展的轨迹,其基本精神仍是理性的科学精神与信仰的宗教精神的交融。在当代科技和理性高度扩张,信仰危机和价值迷失日益严重的境遇下,重新对中世纪哲学的基本精神进行审视和评价具有一定的启迪意义。
