| 摘 要： | 长期以来 ,大学英语教学多将主要精力放在学生语言知识或能力的学习上 ,从而忽略了英语教学的根本目的即培养学生的交际能力。其实 ,语言知识或能力仅是培养交际能力的基础 ,我们不能再像过去一样过分重视或仅停留在这个“基础”上 ,否则 ,大学英语教学仍会重蹈费时多、收效低的覆辙。大学英语教学水平要想得到真正提高就应从交际的内容入手特别重视培养学生运用语言进行交际的能力 ,而这也才是大学英语教学以及学生英语学习的最终目标。

| Abstract: | English teaching in colleges has excessively emphasized students' linguistic knowledge or skills instead of communicative abilities, which in fact should be the purpose of students' English learning. Theoretically, linguistic skills are just the foundation of the development of communicative abilities, therefore, college English teaching, with the help of content, ought to put an emphasis on students' cultivation of communicative abilities. Only in this way, can we be time-consuming and effective in English teaching and thus achieve the aim of college English teaching. |
