由于中西文化背景不同,英汉词汇的组构各有特点,在翻译过程中,中国读者往往对跨文化因素把握不够,从而屡生歧义,导致语用上的偏差。探讨不同文化背景下的思维构式,从中剖析一些客观存在的语用特征,可消减词汇互译上的语用误解。

THE INFLUENCE OF CULTURAL DIFFERENCES ON THE CHOICE OF VOCABULARY IN TRANSLATION

Because there is different Chinese and Western cultural background and the form of English and Chinese vocabulary has its own feature, Chinese readers cannot handle the factor of the cross-culture very well, therefore it frequently emerges different meanings in the course of translation and leads to the deviation in language uses . This paper aims at discussion on the differences of cross-culture and analyses some features of language uses in reality. It puts forward new conformable thoughts in order to reduce the errors in language uses in the translation of vocabulary.
