语体是语言的功能变体,是不同文体的语言特点的综合体系。我国古代语体理论丰富多采。语体理论始于魏晋,发展并成就于齐梁。曹丕首创语体研究的先例,刘勰论述语体最为详尽精当,成就最为突出。弘法大师研究语体成就也很突出,基本可以与刘勰相媲美。

The Ancient styles of writing of our country are rich and colorful, which originated in the Kingdom Wei and the Jin Dynasty and was consummated during Qi and Liang of the Southern Dynasty. Cao Pi created a precedent for the research on the theory of the style of writing, and Liu Xie precisely expounded it in detail and achieved distinction. The master Hongfa also did a lot of research on the style of writing, and his achievements approached Liu Xies in a sense.
