"咸":从"味"到"感"——兼论《咸》卦之命名

摘    要:就词源看,醎、感都源于"咸",就意义谱系看,由而咸而感。就味来说,是水与盐的交合,是五行之情与人之欲的交合;就巫术来说,咸是人与天地鬼神的交合,而在八卦系统中,"咸"表述的是阴阳两类存在者之间的"交合","有心之咸"("感")表述的是有心之人与他者的交合,"知"同样展示着不同存在者之间交合、交通的存在关系。三义的演化与关联展示出中国传统重"感"文化传统的源与流。

Abstract:From the view of etymology and genealogy,the Chinese character gan(feeling) comes from xian(salty).In terms of taste,xian is the blend of water and salt,as well as the blend of wu xing(five elements) and human desire.In terms of witchcraft,xian is the joint of human,heaven and earth,ghost and spirit.In the system of ba gua(eight trigrams),xian expresses the blend of two opposites: yin and yang."The feeling with heart" indicates the joint of individual and others.Zhi(knowledge) demonstrates the relation among individuals in existence.The character xian with its linguistic evolvement shows the source and development of the Chinese culture of feelings.
