言子儒学论略

言子儒学有其自身特色:一是在孔子礼学理论的基础上发展为他的以礼治国的思想;二是将孔子的“有教无类”的教育思想推进为全民教育、目标教育、适时教育的理论;三是更注重实际才能的用人思想。与此同时,从孔子儒学流传的过程发现,言子是孔子儒学至孟子儒学之间的最重要的传人,因此,深入研究言子儒学,对于原始儒学的认识有一定的学术价值和思想价值。

On Yanzi's Confucianism

Yanzi 's confucianist scholarship has its own features: firstly,he developed the "managing state by rule of manners" idea on the basis of Confucian manners theory;secondly,he created universal education,objective education and age-fitting education derived from Confucian principle of 'providing education without discrimination;" thirdly,he embraced competence-oriented ideas.And in the process of spreading Confucius thoughts,Yanzi played the role of key linker between Confucianism and Mencius Confucianism.Therefore,it has an academic meaning in understanding original Confucianism to study Yanzi's Confucianism deeper.
