| Abstract: | Female figures are characterized as bosom friends in "The Nineteen Ancient Poems" which elaborate the common practices of "making friends" in the Late Han Dynasty by various means: satirizing the insincere friendships, revealing the heart's desire to possess a bosom friend, or describing the longing desires. |
