| 摘 要： | 英国作家爱德华·鲍沃尔·李敦的历史传奇小说《庞贝城的末日》，描绘了罗马鼎盛时期的庞贝城，通过城市物质空间及在这一空间中活动着的高贵的和卑贱的生命的故事，复活了一座埋葬了1700多年的古城，向现代人展现了这座城市的风俗习惯、宗教文化以及它所遭遇的一场巨大而可怕的灾难。

| Abstract: | 《The Last Days of Pompeii》Written bY Edward George Earl Bulwer Lytton describes the city of Pompeii in the period of prosperous Rome. The novel revives an ancient city which has been buried for 1700 years through depicting the materialistic space of the city and the stories of noble and humble lives living in this city, displaying the customs, the religious culture and the horrifying disasters of the city. |
