Characteristics of Lingnan Toponym Culture and Administration of Place-name

The historic , geographic and national characteristics as well as the modern revolutionary historic features of Lingnan topnym culture are analysed. Some problems in the management of place_name are discussed. It is considered that the fine tradition of Lingnan toponym culture should be developed, and the unhealthy tendency in naming places should be checked.
