近年来,人们对提出解决评估翻译质量的问题的标准兴趣日浓,产生了关注翻译特性及翻译过程中用到的技术和程序的诸多研究,也一直尝试构建翻译质量评估模式。这些模式（语言、心理、文化、社会）既有宏观分析焦点,也有微观分析焦点,既考察单个语言项目的交际价值,也考虑意识形态、功能、语类、语域、语篇等因素,翻译评论家通过此多元视角可大致重构译者的选择,尽可能客观地揭示译者的决定过程。
