泰戈尔是中印之间的金桥

阿莫尔多.沈把泰戈尔1924年访华称为"泰戈尔伟大的中国之行"。当时,泰戈尔把希望着重寄托在中国身上,希望重振古代中印两大文明的兄弟情谊而建立全球国际关系的新风尚。当今中印两国逞强心迫切,如果两国继续醉心于强力的追求而摒弃几千年文明传统中的爱心,它们也会蹈昔日西方帝国主义以及今日美国的覆辙。这就是我们庆祝泰戈尔150周年寿诞最最应该牢记的。
