| 摘 要： | 1884年11月,清朝设立新疆行省.首任巡抚刘锦棠采取了政治安边、军事强边、经济兴边、文化固边等一系列措施,标志着新疆防务建设的全面展开,使晚清新疆防务建设达到顶峰.建省时期的边陲新疆,成为晚清历史上难得一见的"亮点".

| Abstract: | In November,1884,the Qing Dynasty set up Xinjiang province.Liu Jintang,first governor,adopted a series of measures in politics,military,economics and culture to stabilize,develop and defend the border areas,which indicted that defense affairs were carried out in a full scale and that the defense in Xinjiang reached a new high.Consequently,Xinjiang at that period of time became especially prominent in the late Qing Dynasty. |
