国学视野中的“诚信”问题

我们有理由断言"诚信"在我国的文化传统中占据十分重要的地位,因为我们的国学资源中不乏推崇"诚信"的论述。但是,批评中国人缺乏"诚信"却是百余年间时常听闻的来自"外部"的声音,"诚信"的缺失已经是当前不容回避的社会弊端。在国学的理论层面上重视"诚信"的价值,是诸多学派共同遵守的伦理方向,而在国学的政治实践层面上,既有对"诚信"的尊崇和履行,也有对"诚信"的背叛与践踏。只有认真地反思这样的"背反"现象,我们对自己的文化传统的分析才可能是全面的。在国学的思辨语境中,对"诚信"的辩证表述给出符合其本意的诠释,是当今人文社会科学工作者应该承担的责任。

Interpreting Honesty from the Perspective of Chinese National Culture

On the basis of various arguments advocating honesty in Chinese national culture,it is rationally to claim that honesty plays an important role in Chinese cultural tradition.However,criticizing Chinese's lack of honesty is always the voice from other countries in the past hundreds of years.Starting from the realistic social problems,this paper conducts a scientific study on honesty from the viewpoint of combining traditional culture and political processing reality and comes to the following conclusions.First,at present,lack of honesty has become an unavoidable social ill.Second,theoretically,emphasizing the value of honesty is the common ethics acknowledged by various Chinese national culture schools,while practically,the respect and implementation of honesty and the betrayal and violation of it coexist.Third,we can have a whole analysis of Chinese cultural tradition only if we have a serious reconsideration of this kind of odd phenomenon.Fourth,it is the responsibility for every scholar of humanities and social sciences to take to define the literal interpretation of honesty in the meditative context of Chinese national culture.
