| 摘 要： | 性本非恶,荀子却说＂人之性恶＂,性恶的根源到底是什么？这是荀子性恶论逻辑上的难题。对于这一难题,历来没有善解。其实,荀子为论证性恶准备了五个理论预设,即情性、同欲、欲多、物寡、群居。五者的必然结合是人的本性。五者本非恶,其结合却必然会产生一种恶果。性恶的根源就在五者的必然关系中。这是理解和破解荀子性恶论之逻辑难题的钥匙。

| Abstract: | The human nature is not evil, but Xun Zi said that ＂human nature is evil＂. What is the root of the evil？ This is the logical problem with what Xun Zi said about human nature. There has been no good explanation of the problem. Actually, the key to explaining this problem is the five theoretical bases： natural instinct; desire for the same; insatiable desire; scarcity of goods; gregariousness. These five aspects, when combined, constitute the human nature and cannot but bring about evil consequences. It is in this sense that Xun Zi said that the human nature is evil. |
