摘    要:大学英语课程的新目标要求培养学生的自主学习能力。这就要求大学英语教师必须转变教学观念,及时调整传统的教师角色,在课内外利用教学主导性改进教学行为,通过启发、引导和帮助学生,找到符合学生自身特点的、适合不同任务的学习策略,充分发挥他们的学习自主性,最终提高学生实际运用英语的水平以及独立吸纳新知识的能力。
