清代湘西商业市镇的发展及其原因

清代，经济并不发达的湘西崛起了一批规模不小的商业市镇，成为湘西历史上一道独特而亮丽的风景。原因主要表现为山区开发促进了整个湘西经济的发展，为市镇的崛起奠定了经济基础；大量外来移民为其发展提供了丰富的、具有较高素质的劳动力资源；交通的发展为商品生产和流通提供了条件；教育的进步为其兴盛提供了智力支持。四种因素相互作用、相互影响，共同促进了湘西商业市镇的发展与繁荣。

The Development and Cause of Commercial Towns in Xiangxi in the Qing Dynasty

In the Qing Dynasty,there appeared some commercial towns in Xiangxi(in the west of Hunan Province),where economy were not highly developed.Four factors are contributed for this:the development of the mountainous areas,large number of emigrants,the development of transportation,and the progress of education.These four factors interacted together and fostered the prosperity of the commercial towns.
