商儒相济：清代扬州盐商的文化角色

明清是中国资本主义经济显著发展的时期，在繁荣商业市场的推动下，以传统四民关系为基础的社会结构松动，商人阶层的社会地位有了很大程度的抬升，甚至有超越士之地位的趋向，这一现象在扬州尤然。通过考察明清扬州盐商与士人之间的身份互动，盐商对文人群体的礼遇资助，以及盐商在扬州文化方面所做的贡献，可见盐商群体扮演的“左贾而右儒”的儒商角色，以及宋代迄清中国古典社会结构和儒家价值体系嬗变的一般趋势。

The Combination of Businessmen and Scholars: Salt Merchants Played the Culture Role

From Ming to Qing Dynasty, Chinese capitalist economy got a rapid development, the traditional social structure based on the relationship between the four class was loose. The merchant''s social status was improved even more than intellectual. This phenomenon were prominent in Yangzhou. Though research realitionship of salt merchants and scholars, the support for scholars and the contribution to culture, we can see the part Salt Merchants played and the common trend of social development from Song to Qing Dynasty.
