| 摘 要： | 日本是私立高等教育极为发达的国家。实践表明，日本私立高校之所以能获得持久、良好的发展，与其所具有的宽松的外部治理环境和健全的内部治理结构是密不可分的。笔者基于相关文献研究，阐述日本私立高校内、外部治理机制，揭示日本私立高等教育宏观管理与微观运行的基本特点和规律，并指出若干可供借鉴的经验及启示。
