文学语篇的语言具有社会历史性的特点,文学语篇的理解要求读者的语言学知识.本文从社会语言学的角度,考察了作品<儿子与情人>中人物语言变体的使用,在归纳其非标准变体的基础上,从语言的地区变体、社会变体与社会网络、语码转换、语码混合、复杂语码和局限语码等几个方面分析人物语言,从而发掘人物特点,挖掘作品技巧与内涵.

A Tragedy Determined by Language Use--A Case Study of "Sons and Lovers" from the Sociolinguistic Perspective

Since the language of characters in literary works is social and historical,the reading of literary works invites readers' social knowledge of these languages.This paper studies the work "Sons and Lovers" from an sociolinguistic perspective.By studying the social variety,code switching,code mixing,elaborated code and restricted code,the characters of the work is further studied,and the writer's writing technique is further discovered.
