It boasts unique expression, aesthetic value, spiritual intension and historical significance. In addition, the religious and cultural heritages of the Middle East have some other features, such as being vulnerable, liable to be plundered, and cannot be replaced. Because of war, people＇s behaviors, natural environment and many other causes, the religious and cultural heritages of the Middle East were seriously damaged. There are several measures to protect the religious and cultural heritages, such as improving protection awareness, combining advocacy with education, strengthening the international cooperation or dialogue and making use of high-tech means.
