神龙遭贬文人与二张关系考辨

神龙元年,五王发动政变后,大量文人遭到贬谪,这是初唐历史和文学史上的重大事件。史料和学界认为他们是二张的党羽。其实,二张并没有形成强大的政治势力,更没有专政。从二张的实际政治地位、贬谪文人与二张的关系、文人诗文的反映看,他们并非二张的党羽。他们遭贬的真正原因是:五王视他们为武后势力,以“坐附二张”为借口,予以打击。

A Textual Research on the Relationship between Relegated Literati in 705 and Two Zhangs

In the first year of Shenlong(705),lots of literati were relegated after the coup was launched by five Wangs,which was a major incident of history and literary history in the early Tang Dynasty.Historical materials and academic research indicate that these literati were considered as Zhang Changzong and Zhang Yizhi's adherents.In fact,two Zhangs had neither formed strong political force nor exercised dictatorship.From two Zhangs' actual political status,the relationship between relegated literati and two Zhangs,and the relegated literati's poems and works,it can be concluded that they were not two Zhangs' adherents.The reason for their relegation was that five Wangs regarded them as Empress Wu's force,so five Wangs relegated them on the pretext that they had fawned on two Zhangs.
