Construction of the System of Project-based Inquiry Learning for English Majors

Inquiry learning is a new method of learning which current new curriculum educational reform proposes.It takes the students＇ personalities as the foundation and their creative abilities as their goal.The rationale of this learning method is based on the theories of structuralism,humanism,and communicative teaching method.The construction of project-based inquiry learning system can promote English majors＇ innovation capability,cooperation ability,learning ability,and writing and speaking skills.It can also enrich the contents of the leaning course and make it urgent for teachers to improve themselves for future teaching.
