论胡适挑起“问题与主义”之争的实质

胡适挑起“问题与主义”之争 ,其用意是反对包括无政府主义、马克思主义在内的一切主义 ,“问题与主义”之争 ,是要不要旗帜之争。胡适没有反对马克思主义的观点是不合乎事实的。当然 ,认为胡适只是反对马克思主义的观点 ,也不合乎实际。胡适反对研究和宣传主义 ,是因为他坚信实验主义的“科学方法”能够解决问题。然而否认理论的积极作用 ,是站不住脚的。因此胡适在《三论》《四论》中修正了自己的观点 ,不得不承认主义有作用 ,转而反对教条主义。但是 ,胡适认为主义的作用 ,只是一种参考的作用。因而继续抬高方法的作用 ,而贬低主义的作用

Why Hu Shi provoked the argument of“problems and doctrines”was that he aimed to oppose all the doctrines including anarchism and Marxism.The argument of “problems and doctrines” is whether the banners are needed or not.It is not true to regard that Hu Shi did not object to Marxism,nor does it accord with facts to think that Hu Shi only objected Marxism.Hu Shi objected to researching and publicizing doctrine because he firmly believed that the “scientific methods” of experimentalism would solve the problems.
