大学生人格与成就动机关系初探

本研究以397名北京大学的本科学生为对象,试图探讨他们的人格、自我取向成就动机、社会取向成就动机以及年龄等因素之间的关系.通过问卷调查,得到以下结果:(1)年龄与"大五"人格模型中的开放性、愉悦性两个维度有非常显著的负相关,与外向性有比较显著的正相关;(2)年龄与社会取向成就动机有很显著的正相关;(3)公正严谨性、外向性、开放性三个维度与自我取向成就动机有较高的正相关,神经质则与之有较高的负相关;(4)神经质、外向性与社会取向成就动机有比较高的正相关,开放性、愉悦性则与之有显著的负相关;(5)在人格因素对成就动机的回归分析中,公正严谨性、开放性、外向性可以为自我取向成就动机提供很好的预测,神经质、外向性、开放性、公正严谨性则能够为社会取向成就动机提供很好的预测.

The Relationship Between Undergraduate Students' Personality and Achievement Motive

This study tries to explore the relationships between personality,individual-oriented achievement motive,society-oriented achievement motive and age.Participants were 397 undergraduate students in Perking University.The results of the questionnaire survey are as follows:(1) Age is significantly negatively related to the openness and agreeableness dimensions,and in the meantime,is significantly positively related to the extraversion dimension in Five-Factor Model;(2) There is a significant positive relationship between age and society-oriented achievement motive;(3) While conscientiousness,extraversion and openness are significantly positively correlated with individual-oriented achievement motive,the correlation between neuroticism and individual-oriented achievement motive is highly negative;(4) Society-oriented achievement motive is positively correlated with Neuroticism and Extraversion,but negatively correlated with openness and agreeableness;(5) In the regression analysis,the personality dimensions of conscientiousness,openness and extraversion are good predictors for individual-oriented achievement motive,while neuroticism,extraversion,openness and consciousness are good predictors for society-oriented achievement motive.
