物质世界的分化与统一是在实践中实现的，同时也是随人类实践的发展而不断发展的。物质世界真正意义上的分化是以人类的出现为标志的，其中内涵了人与自然、精神与物质、主体与客体以及人化自然与自在自然之间等多重维度的分化。使人类从自然界中分化出来的真正动力是劳动实践，也正是在改造世界的劳动实践中，人类一方面使世界不断人化，同时又使自身的目的不断对象化，从而使分化的世界在以实践为媒介的交互作用中呈现出具体的历史的统一。
