《沈氏农书》所载水稻施肥技术研究

《沈氏农书》中提出的“凡种田总不出‘粪多力勤’四字,而垫底尤为要紧”,集中反映了明末清初嘉湖地区的水稻施肥技术特点。书中记载的积肥方式经济合理、可行性强。沈氏已认识到肥效有速效性和迟效性之别,对水稻基肥和追肥关系以及施追肥时机的论述,已接近现代自然科学的认识水平。

On fertilization technique for rice in Shen Shi Nong Shu

It is stated in Shen Shi Nong Shu that abundant manure as well as hard work is indispensable for rice planting and that basal manure is of great importance.This embodies fertilization technique for rice in Jia(xing)-Hu(zhou)Plain during the transition from Ming to Qing Dynasty.The way manure was accumulated in the book was not only economical but practical.Shen Shi had detected the difference between manure with quick result and those with slow result.Relationship between basal manure and top dressing as well as timing for top dressing application,which were also described in the book,are very similar to corresponding techniques of modern science.
