民族学材料作为艺术起源研究的实证材料的怀疑

文章认为民族学材料对于我们研究艺术起源具有参考价值，但它只能作为类比材料而不能作为实证材料。因为现代原始部族和作为文明人祖先的原始初民，不论是在思维方式、智力程度上，还是在文化选择、发展过程方面都有明显的、甚至可能是本质性的差别，两者不论在艺术还是文化方面都是根本不同的。因此，用现代原始部族文化去推测现代文明人的原始文化，用现代原始部族艺术去推测现代文明人的原始艺术，缺乏充分的逻辑根据。

Suspicion of the Ethnological Records as the Proof for Studying the 0rigin of Arts

Ethnological records are valuable references to our studying the origin of arts. But they can only be regarded as analogy materials rather than proof materials. The primitive tribes in modern world and the primitive peoples as civilized man's ancestors have outstanding and essential differences in the thought pattern,IQ,the selected culture and the development degree. The primitive arts of the modern world's backward tribes are completely different from the primitive arts,the prehistorical arts. It means the lack of sufficient logical basis to interpret the primitive culture of modern civilized man singly basing on the modern primitive tribes' culture and to interpret the primitive arts of modern civilized man singly basing on the modern primitive tribes' arts.
