摘    要:传统的外语教学注重目的语语言技能的培养,并逐步加入了西方文化的元素,但却忽略了对学生的民族语言能力和文化素养的培育,教材也缺乏相关内容,导致在跨文化交际中出现障碍。目前外语教学在此方面的不足具体表现在:(1)培养方案中缺乏民族语言和文化课程设置;(2)所谓的学分制与真正定义上的完全由学生自主选课的学分制相差甚远;(3)教师在本民族语言和文化知识对外语教学起重要作用的认识上观念模糊;(4)学生对母语及其文化重视不够;(5)教材中民族文化知识含量不足。基于此,建议:(1)调整培养方案,设置相关课程;(2)规定跨系跨专业选修课学分;(3)正确引导和树立学生的人文意识;(4)编写适用教材。

Abstract:Traditional foreign language teaching has placed an emphasis on the training of target language skills and gradually incorporated elements of western culture,but it has attached little importance to the cultivation of students' Chinese language competence and cultural quality.Besides,the textbooks contain no relevant content for input in this aspect.As a result,obstacles might occur in cross cultural communication.This paper briefly reviews the history and status quo of our foreign language teaching,explores the inadequacy of Chinese and culture knowledge and its causes,and puts forward some preliminary suggestions for cultivating the first language competence and comprehensive cultural quality according to the practical situation of foreign language teaching in institutions of higher learning.
