| Abstract: | This paper examines thematisation and the principle of information distribution in the linear organization of English and tries to analyse how English discourse or text achieves its cohesion and coherence and how information is communicated in the process of thematisation and linearisation. The analysis is magnificent to English discourse teaching which awaits theoretical guidance. |
