| 摘 要： | 英语名词词义语法化是指具有实在意义的英语名词逐渐虚化为表语法意义或功能的名词或语素的过程。隐喻、转喻和主观化在英语名词词义语法化过程中起着重要的作用,也是其语法化的主要方式。另外,英语名词词义语法化的结果主要表现为产生新义、发生转义以及词义的扩大和缩小。

| Abstract: | This paper mainly analyzes the means and the results of the semantic grammaticalization of English nouns.The semantic grammaticalization of English nouns refers to the process in which English nouns with concrete meanings change gradually into nouns or morphemes with more abstract grammatical meanings or functions.Metaphor,metonymy and subjectivitisation which play an important role in the course of semantic grammaticalization of English nouns are the important means of grammaticalization while grammaticalization mainly results in the generation of newmeanings,the transformation of old meanings as well as the extension and narrowing of meanings. |
