| Abstract: | Proceeding from a study of the role of the stock market in and its imp act on the development of the economy in the West Regions, the present paper mai ntains that the improvement of operation efficiency in the stock market of the W est Regions contributes a lot to the increase of investment in the regions. The result of the study indicates that to solve the problem of fund shortage, it is necessary to quicken the process of economic monetization and devote major effor ts to foster the stock market in the regions. |
