返乡农民工从事农业生产决策的影响因素

利用人口流动大省陕西省的农户调查数据,构建Cox比例风险模型对实际从事农业生产和尚未从事农业生产的返乡农民工的决策行为进行拟合,探讨人力资本对返乡农民工从事农业生产决策行为的影响效应。研究结果表明:被访者的受教育程度、外出务工次数、外出务工的职业对其选择从事农业生产具有抑制作用,而被访者的年龄、家庭耕地面积以及返乡后选择从事农业生产的原因对其选择从事农业生产具有正向影响;被访者的健康状况、除农业生产技能外其他技能的拥有情况、外出务工性质以及返乡后从事农业生产的类型对其选择从事农业生产的影响不显著。据此提出应着力培养新型职业农民,优化农村人力资本投资结构,完善相关保障政策,鼓励有知识懂技术的农村人才返乡创业。

Influence of Human Capital on Agricultural Production Decision of Returned Rural Migrant Workers

Using the survey data of several districts and counties in Shaanxi,a province with large population mobility,this study builds a Cox proportional hazards regression model to fit the agricultural production decision-making behavior of returned rural migrant workers who are actually engaged in agricultural production or have not yet been engaged in agricultural production,and further on to analyze the effect of human capital on their decision-making behavior.The study finds that the migrant workers’education level,number of times of migrant working and occupations during migrant employment have inhibitory effect on their choice of engaging in agricultural production.Their age,the amount of arable land at home,and the reasons for choosing to engage in agricultural production after returning home have a positive impact on the choice of agriculture.In addition,their health status,the possession of other skills than agricultural production skills,the nature of migrant workers,and the type of agricultural production they are engaged in after returning home have no significant impact on their choice of agricultural production.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
