对加快我校政治学与行政学专业发展的思考

政治学与行政学是西南交通大学的一个新兴专业,现已形成重基础、宽口径、多出路的培养模式和较强的专业优势。该专业在西部地区布点较少,具有良好发展所需的社会环境和广阔的现实需求。学校要具有抢占西部政治学与行政学专业市场的战略眼光,加大对该专业的扶持力度,注重人才的引进工作和专业建设资金的投入,加快课程体系、课程内容和教学方法的改革,走出一条有自己特色的专业发展道路。

Reflections on Facilitating the Development of Specialty of Political and Administrative Science in Southwest Jiaotong University

Political and administrative science,a new specialty in Southwest Jiaotong University,has developed its superiority of discipline and formed a training mode of emphasizing basic knowledge,enrolling students with diverse background and enabling students to get more job opportunities.This specialty,a scarce one in the western region,has a favorable environment of development and increasing practical needs.Therefore,the university should have the strategic foresight of dominating the market of political science in the west,give more support to this specialty,draw in more qualified personnel,invest more funds,and enhance the reform on curriculum,contents and teaching methodology.
