This paper reviews the historical development of the relationship between macro-sociology and micro-sociology, opposition and link.From 1960s on the different perspectives of division.have changed into dualism and hindered the development of sociological theory.In recent years,more and more sociologists critisize this dualism and try to link macro-sociology and micro-sociology.Their efforts reflect the synthetic trend in social science theories.
