| 摘 要： | 研究指出,多幕剧《天边外》是美国剧作家尤金·奥尼尔的成名作,从这部剧开始,奥尼尔进入创作的成熟期,他在美国戏剧界的地位也是由这部剧确立起来的。《天边外》在探索人物内心焦灼挣扎方面得到普遍的承认。本文将通过对其中三位主人公安德鲁、罗伯特、露斯的心理的分析,探索欲望的控制对人物命运的毁灭性打击。

| Abstract: | Since the completion of Beyond the Horizon,American playwright Eugene O＇Neill stepped into a mature age in his career. This play wined him great fame,and also established him as an important playwright in America.Acknowledged by most critics,this play shines itself in the portrait of psychological struggle,and this paper researches the destructive effect of desire through a psychological analysis of Andrew,Robert and Rose. |
