中国电影是20世纪初年从西方传入的.其发展一直受到外国电影的影响.但这种影响不是完全被动的接受,更不是全盘移植,而是在自身期待视野中的变异与融合.通过对20世纪中国电影发展之外来影响源流踪迹的考察,可以发现新时期以来中国电影第四、五、六代导演对外来影响的接受与变异,并从中揭示出中国电影对外来影响源的接受中的变异的若干特点与规律.

The Anxiety of Influences: Reception, Transformation and Integration --An Initial Examination of Foreign Influences on Chinese Films

Chinese films, from the beginning of the 20th century when films are introduced to China from Western countries, have been influenced by films outside China. But the influence doesn't mean passive reception or unchanged transplanting but transformation or integration in the context of Chinese expected vision. An initial examination of the foreign influences on the development of Chinese films in the 20th century can find the reception and transformation by the 4th, 5th and 6th generation of Chinese film directors under these influences, and disclose some regular patterns of reception and transformation.
