排斥异己是王安石变法失败的重要原因

以荆公新学为基础的熙宁变法,虽然有明确的纲领和赵项皇帝的坚定支持,但行法十多年仍以失败而告终。变法失败的原因当然是多方面的,王安石"排斥异己"所造成的恶劣影响就是很重要的一条。之所以排斥和打击异己,直接的原因是"新法"颁行过急、变法派言行不一而产生了重大失误;诿过于人、排斥异己的重要表现是破坏了对皇权有一定制约功能的"台谏制度";而台谏制度的破坏掩盖了变法过程中出现的一系列问题,当这些问题发展到了无法收拾的地步的时候,十多年的变法就不得不被废止了。

Exclusion of Nonconformists:A Main Reason for the Failure of Wang Anshi Reform

In spite of a definite program and firm support from Emperor Zhao Xu, Wang Anshi Reform, based on Jing Gong's new learnings, ended in failure after a teen-year practice. Accounts for failure are multiple, among which Wang Anshi's exclusion of nonconformists, together with its bad effects, distinguishes itself as a principal one. Hasty enforcement of " New Laws" and fatal negligence resulted from discordance of the reformists'claiming with their doing leads to Wangs intolerance of his rivals. Their blaming on others and excluding nonconformists broke the " Tai Rules for Remonstra-tion" ,which, in a certain sense, restricted the imperial power. A series of problems rising from the reform were covered by the breaking down of the Rules until too late to be remediable. After over ten years practice, the reform eventually came to an end.
