中国现代文学的副文本

副文本是正文本周边的辅助文本。应当全面、辩证地认知副文本。一方面,它是正文本的互文本;另方面,它是整个文本的构成部分;正面看,它对中国现代文学研究具有史料、阐释、经典化等多重价值;反观之,它则可能对正文本产生遮蔽、拆解乃至颠覆的负面效用。副文本研究使中国现代文学的再解读乃至文学史重写具有了从细节和边缘处切入进行创新的可能。

On Paratexts in Modern Chinese Literature

Paratexts are the supplementary texts surrounding the main text.Only by changing our conceptions of the text and unpacking it fully can we understand paratexts in a comprehensive and dialectical way.Looked at specifically,paratexts are intertexts in relation to the main text;looked at generally,they constitute part of the whole text.Seen directly,they play a positive role in studies of modern Chinese literature in terms of historical sources,hermeneutics and formation of the canon;but conversely,they can also produce negative effects on the main text through concealment,deconstruction and even subversion.Paratext studies offer us the possibility of an innovative reinterpretation of modern Chinese literature and even of rewriting literary history in terms of details and margins.
