Investigating the Present Development of and Countermeasures for Higher Vocational Education in Guizhou

With the adjustment of economic and productive structures in Guizhou, higher vocational education, which is to bring up different kinds of personnel with practical ability and skills for production, construction, management and services, has developed rapidly. However, due to the weaknesses in social environment, policies and finance, it has been encountered with many difficulties and problems. If higher vocational education in Guizhou should experience a desirable development, colleges and curricula of higher vocational education must be well designed, with correct ideas, working policies, and sufficient funds so as to stimulate its quick and healthy development in Guizhou.
