Comprehend and Implement the Spirit of the Decision to Promote Cultural Development and Prosperity

The 6th Plenary Session of 17th CPC Central Committee propounded the task of promoting the socialist cultural development and prosperity.It has turned a new leaf in Chinese cultural development and has practical and historical significance.To further study and implement the spirit of the 6th plenary session of 17th CPC Central Committee,the Research Centre of the Chinese Characteristic Socialism Theory System of Yangzhou University held a symposium.The participants had a theoretical and practical discussion on issues like: the importance and urgency of the cultural development;the connotation of prosperous cultural development;and the history of cultural development;the socialist core value system;the philosophy and social science research and the construction of campus culture.
