Based on elaborating latter-day science and its characteristics, this paper regards the forming and development process of the latter-day scientific research methods in latter-day science as the clue, probe the thinking and methods of influential scientists and powerful philosophers during the course of latter-day scientific research, and study the inter-dynamic relation between the latter-day science and the research methods of the later-day science, then summarizes the basic characteristics of the latter-day natural science research methods. It is benefit for understanding the great effect of the characteristics of the latter-day natural science research methods in forming, developing and perfecting of latter-day science.
