电讯与云南的近代化

近代云南的电讯包括有线电报、电话、无线电通讯三个方面。从技术层面看,有线通讯技术是云南近代化的起点,对于云南内部统一市场的形成和工业化、城市化进程产生了积极的影响;电话则对加强城市内部的信息流,改善市政管理,丰富城市结构和职能有一定作用;无线电通讯有效克服了电线电杆维护的障碍和高山、河流、深谷的阻隔,在抗战期间得到了较大发展,强大的无线电信号网络,奠定了云南在西南通讯枢纽中的门户地位。

Telegraphic Dispatch and the Modernization of Yunnan Province

The telegraphic dispatch in modern Yunnan included cable telegram, telephone and wireless telegram. From the vision of technology, cable telegram was the starting point of the modernization of Yunnan province, and had positive influence in the forming of internal entity market and in the process of industrialization and urban- ization in Yunnan province. Telephone played a role in the strengthening of inner information flow in cities, in the improvement of municipal administration, and in the development of city structure and function. Wireless tele- gram overcame the maintenance difficulty of cable net and the natural obstacles, and developed quickly in the Anti- Japanese War period. The strong signals of wireless telegram laid a foundation that Yunnan was the key joint point in south-west telegraphic dispatch.
