关于近代图们江十字界碑问题

一些中朝边界史著作提到清朝曾在图们江边境建立“华、夏、金、汤、固、江、河、带、砺、长”十字界碑.但建立时间有1712年、1888年或1889年、1890年后多种说法,也有学者认为有关竖立十字界碑及被朝鲜人所毁的说法并非事实.笔者也同意十字界碑可能并不存在,但认为目前要彻底否定十字界碑凿立及“毁碑说”,尚缺乏直接证据.

Research on the Issue of Boundary Monument along Tumen River in Qing Dynasty

It has been mentioned in works of history of China-Korea borders that Qing Dynasty had placed the boundary monument marked with characters as ＂Chinese is so strong that the kingdom is eternal＂ along the Tumen River. However, these works record confused time when the monument was placed as the year of 1712, 1888, 1889 and 1890. Some other scholars ar- gue that the rumors that Korean destroyed the monument are not true. The author herein agrees the boundary monument might not be placed at all, but holds the opinion that evidence of the negalion of the existence of the monument and the ＂destroyed monument＂ is not enough at present.
