| 摘 要： | 近代早期英国习俗改革声势浩大，基于互惠观念和共同体理念，习俗改革对违背世俗法和教会法的言行进行管制。这场习俗改革是英国宗教改革的延续，它的实质是精英对民众文化的改造，然而精英文化从未曾绝对地引领着民众文化。

| Abstract: | Reform of social manners in early modern Britain, which was great in scale, was based on the ideas of reciprocity and commonwealth. The reform, which repressed all words and deeds against secular and ecclesiastic laws, was in fact the continuation of the Reformation in Britain. The nature of the reform lies in that the elite were trying to transform popular culture, but elitist culture has never taken full control of popular culture. |
