知青文学在1982—1989年间，已开始走出历史意向性的存在，并分别呈现出四种类型(一)理想、献身、反叛、占有；(二)自疑、自疏、解构；(三)从梦中家园到尴尬异乡；(四)欲望生命本体的探索。《血色黄昏》则是其“反常”的回波。知青文学也由此展示出三种可能的历史演进趋向单个人的记忆性话语，更具针对性的批判性话语和遮蔽社会现实的意识形态话语。

A Course of Dispersion:A View of Classification of the Educated Youth Literature

In 1982 -- 1989, the educated youth literature has begun to jump out of the historically intentional existence so that it emerges four types as follows: 1. Idealism, devotion, rebellion and possession; 2. self--perplexity, self--adjustment and de--composition; 3. From the dreaming garden into the awkward strange land; 4. an exploration for the essence of the desired life. It was Blood Twilight that had showed the unusual tide, from which the educated youth literature has gradually emerged three possible tendencies of historical evolution, namely, individual words of remembering, more directing, critical and ideological words screening the social reality.
