《荀子》、《吕氏春秋》教育思想比较

摘    要:《荀子》、《吕氏春秋》均有集百家学说于一身的特点,两书所包含的教育思想比其他诸子更为丰富.比较起来说,《荀子》的教育思想以性恶论为哲学基础,《吕氏春秋》以天性论为基础.前者认为教育能够改造人性,由恶趋善;后者则认为教育不能改易人性,却可避免人的天性遭受戕害.《荀子》主张教育的目的在于造就圣人,《吕氏春秋》则把教育的目的更多指向培养遵守社会规范和因循自然规律的普通人.两书在教育方法论方面有许多相似的观点,但《吕氏春秋》更加强调基于自然人性的师生关系所带来的教学效果.

A Comparative Study on Educational Thought between Xunzi and Lushi chunqiu

Abstract:Both Xunzi and Lushi chunqiu baize combined many kinds of theories, and the ideology of them on education is richer than other classical works. In comparison, Xunzi was based on the evil humanity while Lushi chunqiu was based on the nativism. The former believed that education was able to change human nature itself, but the later thought that although education could not change it, it could avoid human nature being corrupted. Xunzi held that the object of education was to make the saint, bat Lushi chunqiu believed the object of education was to make the average person who conformed to social norms and natural laws. These two books shared many common ideas on the teaching methods, but Lushi ehunqiu emphasized the importance of the relations between teachers and students based on the nativism.
